What are the benifits of Hand Coding a website
Excellent code is the first thing that springs to mind. Hand coding our websites means that we are producing excellent quality code that the search engines enjoy. If you view the source of our latest websites you will be able to see for yourself how well balanced the page looks, this would probably mean nothing to you, but the search engines can read through the pages we create alot faster than most sites. It also enables us to provide changes to the sites alot quicker than most due to the way we build the foundations.
What are web standards
W3C was created to ensure compatibility and agreement among industry members in the adoption of new standards. Prior to its creation, incompatible versions of HTML were offered by different vendors, increasing the potential for inconsistency between web pages. The consortium was created to get all those vendors to agree on a set of core principles and components which would be supported by everyone.
Having these standards allows you to validate the website in question. Validation is something we take great pride in. Before we launch any website, we check the pages against these standards to make sure that they comply with them. So assuring you of a professionally built website and one that you can be proud of.
Are there limitations for the website
No, as having these standards means alot of people will find a workaround to any potential coding problems. For example the youtube code to embed onto your website can not be validated without a modification. That is where our experience and knowledge again comes into question. We can bolt on almost any add on to your website including twitter, facebook and other social network plugins. We beleive experience plays a huge part in the build of a website.
