Increase Website Traffic
Increase Website Traffic – Part of the Strategic Product Levitation Series
• Are you selling products and services from your website?
• Can your products and services be found when people are searching the Internet?
• Would you like some help increasing your visibility?
LiaiseOnline Limited initially created www.businessinberkshire.co.uk in 2002 as a means of helping local business people find out about seminars and networking events locally. Today, thousands of business people receive our regular email newsletters, tens of thousands visit our website each month and a few dozen will respond to the news and events they read about each week.
And thus it has always been... On a High Street, thousands will stroll past your shop each day. A few hundred will wander in and look at items displayed and a few dozen will make a purchase.
Got the message... you need thousands of people visiting your site for a few to make a purchase.
So how do you increase the traffic flow to your website?
Three great ways for you to increase your website traffic:
• Send emails to people you already know. You can buy “opt-in” databases but unless you have big budgets you can waste a lot of money on this. Focus on people you know and encourage them to forward your email to their contacts. Friends like to help out, so make it easier, give them an incentive to do so... a competition with a small prize should do the trick.
• Register with two or three social networking sites. Pick one of your products, write a short article about your chosen product and add it to the appropriate forum on the site. Give this a week’s worth of promotional effort and then move on to another product.
• Encourage others to add contextual links on their websites, blogs and emails. Some will need no incentive. For others give them an incentive... make a competition out of it.
Try one this month, one next and the third in a few months and watch your content start to fly higher and higher. Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day and you should give your website time for each of these ingredients to do their thing.
Please call 01753 852904 if you’d like to discuss any of the above and to find out how we can help you.
Thank you for listening.
