Mobile Websites

A mobile website is a simplified version of your current website. Although there are a wide range of phones on the market that have html capabilities, there are still a large volume of mobile users that recieve slow connection speeds. Having a mobile version of your website allows them to get important information about your services.

How does a mobile website work

The format for the code has to be done in the correct manner so that it passes the MobileOK validation process. The MobileOK is a W3C web standard, which if followed would allow your mobile website to be viewed on any phone platform. We also design your website so that the navigation can be controlled through your keypad. We usually advise people to focus on 9 or 10 areas of your website. Then each page can be given a numeric number from 0 - 9 so that the pages can be clicked using the numbers on your phones keypad.

What about graphics?

Due to the constraints of creating a MobileOK website you are very limited in terms of graphics, the web pages including content have to be kept below 20kb. Which is very small in terms of the web today. We advise having a logo and using the content area to get your message across. Its not about the bells and whistles is all about being accessible and allowing customers to find your important information.
